Territory eligibility for Licensed Hubs

Hubs · For everyone · Updated Oct 20, 2026 · 1 min read

A Licensed Hub serves a territory. The territory decides which districts can join through that hub.

Regional and nationwide hubs

  • A regional hub serves named states and, usually, named counties within them.
  • A nationwide hub can serve a district anywhere.
  • An exclusive territory means no other regional hub is offered to districts in those counties.

What the join wizard does

When a district enters its state and county, the wizard offers only the hubs that are active and serve that county. A hub code from a hub that does not serve the county is refused, and the message lists the counties the hub does serve.

When the territory looks wrong

  • District: check the state and county you entered. If they are right, open a ticket in the Hub category.
  • Hub: territory changes are made by ICAA under your hub agreement. Open a ticket from your workspace and describe the change.

ICAA can attribute a district to a hub outside the normal territory in special cases. Every change of hub is recorded.
