ICAA Membership Terms

Version 2026-10.2 · in effect from Oct 13, 2026

Term and payment

A membership is for one year, prepaid. The term starts on the day ICAA receives the first payment. A longer term is prepaid in full (5% off a 2-year term, 10% off a 3-year term). Prices are the ones in the ICAA price book on the day an invoice is issued.

Renewal

Nothing renews or is charged by itself. Thirty days before the term ends ICAA issues a renewal invoice for one year; the membership extends when that invoice is paid. An owner of the organization may change the invoice to a longer term before paying, or renew earlier.

After the term ends

If the renewal is not paid when the term ends, benefits continue for a grace period of 30 days. After the grace period the membership lapses: benefits and member pages are locked and the showcase profile is hidden until a renewal is paid. ICAA may suspend a membership for a stated reason; a suspension is lifted by ICAA, not by a payment.

Benefits and allowances

Allowances (assessments, workshops, check-ins and the like) are per membership year, counted from the term start and from each anniversary of it. A request counts in the year it is made. What is not requested in a year expires at its end; nothing is carried over. Benefits are not transferable.

Member discounts

ICAA applies the service discount of a tier when it quotes a service; it is not applied to a purchase by itself. Member discounts do not stack with custom pricing or statewide contracts unless ICAA approves it in writing. Free subscription periods apply to new SchoolStream clients only.

Joining through a Licensed Hub

A district that joins through a Licensed Hub acknowledges the hub as its first point of support and that ICAA shares the district's membership fee data with that hub. The club rate applies only while the hub is active on the day an invoice is issued.

Payments by ICAA to members

This section applies to every amount ICAA owes a member under an ICAA program, for example a vendor's share of a sale made through the ICAA Catalog or a Licensed Hub's royalty or fee share.

Payment in full first. ICAA owes an amount to a member only after ICAA has received the buyer's payment for the underlying sale in full and in cleared funds. Receipt of that payment is a condition precedent to ICAA's obligation to pay. ICAA does not advance or guarantee a buyer's payment, pays nothing against a partial payment, and is not liable to a member for a buyer's late payment or failure to pay.

Monthly payment periods. ICAA pays members once for each calendar month. An amount for which ICAA received the buyer's payment in full during a month is listed on the member's statement for that month and is paid in the next monthly payment period. ICAA makes no payments between periods.

Deductions. ICAA pays the member's share after ICAA's fees under the ICAA price book, and may deduct from any payment a refund, chargeback or reversed payment on an earlier sale and any other amount the member owes ICAA.

No interest. No interest is owed on an amount for the time before it is paid under this section.

Payment details. ICAA pays to the account the member has named, once the member has given ICAA the payment and tax information ICAA needs. An amount held because that information is missing is paid in the first payment period after it is supplied.

Other agreements. A signed agreement between ICAA and the member that sets a different payment schedule takes precedence for the amounts it covers.

Cancellation and refunds

ICAA may cancel a membership for a stated reason; a cancelled membership is final and a new one can be started. Refunds are decided and recorded by ICAA; the portal does not refund by itself.

When you join, start a new membership or renew, the portal shows the total before you confirm and records the version of these terms you accepted and the total you accepted them for. Compare the memberships · Become a member
