ICAA, the Innovation Center for AI in Automation, is a national collaboration helping K-12 modernize through secure, practical AI-in-the-loop automation. Educators decide, AI assists.
Our mission
School districts face the same operational work everywhere: onboarding staff, routing forms, answering families, closing the books. Most cannot afford to solve each of these alone. ICAA brings districts, regional service agencies and solution providers together so that a workflow built once, to a shared standard, can be used by every member.
How we work
- Districts join to get products at member-only prices, each with a published self-disclosure, shared standards and a peer network.
- Licensed Hubs are the regional agencies districts already trust. They enroll their districts, build what those districts need and provide first-line support.
- Vendors join to have their products evaluated against ICAA standards and placed on the shelf for members.

Everything on the ICAA shelf has been evaluated for security, privacy, accessibility and audit trails. Every standard is published, versioned and open to member comment. Every automation keeps a person in the loop for the decisions that matter.
