Getting on the shelf

Vendors · For everyone · Updated Oct 20, 2026 · 2 min read

The ICAA catalog, called the shelf or the App Store, lists products of member vendors and Licensed Hubs at member-only prices. Every product on it has published a self-disclosure: what it does with data and how it is secured, accessible and supported.

The path to the shelf

  1. Be a member. Vendor members, and Licensed Hubs for the products they build, list products.
  2. Prepare the product as a draft under Products & Services (a hub: My Products) with its description, platform and prices.
  3. Pay the self-disclosure evaluation (once per product) from Get on the App Store on the product's page. ICAA reviews the self-disclosure once it is paid.
  4. Finish and publish its self-disclosure under Certification (a hub: from the build's page).
  5. Sign the member-price agreement (a vendor's product): propose the member-only price, ICAA approves it, an owner signs.
  6. Pay the first year of shelf space. Both fees are prices of the ICAA price book.
  7. List it from Get on the App Store on the product's page. An owner of the organization takes the steps that commit it.

What districts see

Each listing shows who built or sells the product, the retail price and the member price, its self-disclosure, and how many districts use it. A product reads ICAA Verified once ICAA has reviewed its self-disclosure, and Pending ICAA verification until then.

Staying on the shelf

Shelf space is paid every year: the renewal is invoiced 30 days before the paid year ends, and new orders pause while it is unpaid after its due date. A new version of the self-disclosure is verified again. Open a ticket in the Directory and Showcase category if a listing needs a correction.
